Our DNA

The Revel Kitchen Way

One of the things that make eating at Revel Kitchen different is that you don’t have to compromise on anything — not price, time, or quality.

We believe food should taste as good as it is for you. Healthy food doesn’t have to be ridiculously expensive, and being accessible to all is important to us. Many fast-casual restaurants claim to be healthy but lack real substance but with us, you get the best of both worlds!

We take pride in supporting our community, that’s why the ingredients and products we source are from local vendors and local businesses. However, there’s nothing simple about what we do with our ingredients. Our chef-crafted offerings include paleo options, gluten-free options, organic options, vegetarian options, and vegan options, so no matter what, we’ve got you covered!

Here at Revel Kitchen, you can’t make a bad choice from our menu. We serve actual healthy food that’s fresh and delicious. Come see for yourself!

Revel Kitchen owners, Simon and Angelica Lusky, didn’t originally set out to open a casual, healthy restaurant — but what started out as a side project has since grown into a two-location go-to for health-conscious eaters and foodies alike!

The Revel Kitchen History

It all began in 2010 when Simon and Angelica moved to St. Louis for Simon to work as the Cardinals’ team chef. In 2012, the two began a side business out of their home preparing healthy meals for St. Louis Blues players and other elite athletes.

As word of mouth spread, so did the need for production space. The couple signed a lease on a cafe on Cherokee Street that had the kitchen space they needed to prepare meals for athletes and also an eat-in area, which they called Athlete Eats.

In 2015, the two decided to switch up their prepared-meal model and transition to a Brentwood location. The restaurant reopened as Revel Kitchen to welcome all foodies, not just athletes. Two years later, a second location opened in Clayton.

Today, both locations are operated with the utmost care, and yes, the Lusky’s eat here practically every day!
